Golden Tea/Turmeric Tea

Why Turmeric?
Inflammation is running wild in our bodies these days, leading to all kinds of seemingly disconnected symptoms, from joint pain to food allergies to digestive troubles. Turmeric tea is a nice relaxing and healthy drink that comes with many health benefits.

Preparation Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon fresh grated turmeric or 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • pinch of nutmeg
  • pinch of clove
  • 2-3 drops of coconut oil
  • pinch of black pepper
  • honey or lemon as per your taste

Instruction:

  1. Boil water in a saucepan with a handle.
  2. Add allspice and boil them properly.
  3. Strain out tea into a cup and add honey or lemon.
  4. I used with lemon this time it’s really refreshing.
