Thyme Rice

This dish gets its flavor from thyme, a member of the mint family. Thyme rice is really tasty and you can have it as a main dish or side dish. I made for my husband as a side dish. He had with grilled chicken with thyme rice and salad.

Total Time: 20 minutes
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Serve: 1

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup cooked basmati rice
  • 1 carrot grated
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic paste
  •  fresh thyme sprinkle
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 teaspoon olive oil

Instructions:

  1. Heat the pan and add olive oil, garlic paste, and onions sauté for 5 minutes.
  2. Once onion and garlic cooked then add rice, grated carrot, salt, and pepper.
  3.  Sprinkle thyme on top of the rice mix well and cook for more 2 minutes.
  4. Serve Hot!!
