This dish gets its flavor from thyme, a member of the mint family. Thyme rice is really tasty and you can have it as a main dish or side dish. I made for my husband as a side dish. He had with grilled chicken with thyme rice and salad.

Ingredients:
- 1 cup cooked basmati rice
- 1 carrot grated
- 1 small onion finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic paste
- fresh thyme sprinkle
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 teaspoon olive oil
Instructions:
- Heat the pan and add olive oil, garlic paste, and onions sauté for 5 minutes.
- Once onion and garlic cooked then add rice, grated carrot, salt, and pepper.
- Sprinkle thyme on top of the rice mix well and cook for more 2 minutes.
- Serve Hot!!
